Nike Air Force 1 x Tiffany & Co.

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1, Nike wanted to go the whole hog, leaving once again all fans and not just speechless.

The announcement took place on the official instagram profile of Nike which published the special co-branded package, in which the American giant announced the arrival of the "legendary pair", as it has been nicknamed, in collaboration with the historic jewelry brand Tiffany & Co.

The collaboration marks the first encounter between Tiffany & Co and the world of footwear, even if the brand is not new to contact with streetwear. In fact, since the maison was acquired by LVMH in January 2021, a series of highly prestigious partnerships have begun, including the one with Supreme, Beyoncé and Jay-Z (their first joint project outside of music), Daniel Arsham, Fendi and Patek Philippe.

The release

The Air Force 1 x Tiffany & Co will therefore be available at a cost of $400, starting March 7, 2023 in two Tiffany boutiques in New York, the Tiffany Flagship Next Door and the Tiffany & Co. SoHo, while for everything else of the world will be available on SNKRS the Nike application, as well as in selected stores in North America.

The sneaker is made with a suede base, a Tiffany Blue and teal swoosh of the house that covers the logos and the insoles. Other sneaker details include co-branded silver dog tags on the heels and an all-black AF1 rubber outsole. The shoes will have an extra set of laces and will be in the special co-branded packaging.

To further celebrate the launch, Tiffany & Co. will offer a line of similarly inspired limited-edition silver products for sale in the United States on Tiffany.com with prices ranging from $250 to $475.

As can be seen among the co-branded models are a silver whistle, a shoe horn, a shoe brush and dubrae for the laces of the Nike Air Force 1 1837 x Tiffany & Co.

A "Friends & Family" edition was also released, which favors high quality leather and comes with a textured Tiffany Blue upper while eyelets, swooshes and heels in black suede. The black also continues onto the tongues and leather lining while having signature Tiffany branding placements. A White midsole atop a Tiffany Blue rubber outsole with an extra set of laces completes the sneaker's design.
