The North Face

Founded in 1964 by environmentalist billionaire Douglas Tompkin, the logo is designed by David Alcorn in 1971 and depicts the Half Dome, a famous peak in Yosemite National Park, California. The North Face Inc. produces clothing, footwear and accessories for mountain lovers. However, its unique style made its way into luxury fashion, with collaborations with Gucci, Supreme and many others. The brand becomes an icon by sponsoring the first daring expeditions to Mount Everest.
