Paul Van Doren's idea was to redesign the classic boat shoe, making it lighter and more versatile for every day. This is how Vans was born in 1966 with its iconic models of street and skate culture. From the "slip-on", among the first to launch the model without laces in 1982, to the classic Old Skool characterized by the "Jazz Stripe" and revisited with multiple colors and patterns with ironic graphics.
