Nike Air Max Zero Doernbecher

Nike Air Max Zero Doernbecher - Since 2003, Nike has raised millions for OHSU's Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation through the creativity of the hospital's youngest patients, whose ideas come to life through sneaker design. The Air Max Zero “Doernbecher” was made by Chase, aka “The Captain,” a 14-year-old patient. Running along the tongue is a tube-shaped design representing his shunt to treat his hydrocephalus, something he has experienced his entire life. Chase also loves the lighthouses that are featured on the heel. The final signature is the slogan "Unstoppable Chase", which shows the perseverance of the incredible "Captain".
