This Air Max 97 joins those Nike colorways inspired by plants and fruits of nature. Nike Air Max 97 Cork comes in a navy blue color with lighter blue details and integrates the cork material, used for one of the stripes that defines the typical 97 silhouette and for the realization of the tread.

The midsole is white and below it there is the visible Max Air unit in shades of brown and the tread of the same color that has sandy grains incorporated into the rubber. The tongue is decorated with an embroidery, a typical element of the Nike plant-based line, which depicts a twig of cork oak. The sneaker is made with 20% recycled materials. The upper fabric is in fact made of recycled polyester and the sole integrates 9% of recycled cork from the wine industry. In short, a perfect compromise between Nike style, comfort, performance and sustainability.
