Nike Air Jordan 8 Retro Doernbecher




The Nike Air Jordan 8 Retro Doernbecher was designed by Caden Lampert who battles with a life-threatening autoimmune disease known as Guillain-Barré syndrome. The sneaker features a Hyper Blue upper speckled with Electro Orange, Tour Yellow and Black accents. Released in November 2014 at the Portland Art Museum, the sneaker also includes a number of personal details. Passionate basketball player, shirt no. 14 from Caden reaches up to the cross strap and a cobra graphic highlights the right tongue. Also included are a glow-in-the-dark fingerprint and the inspirational phrases "Hang Loose," Rock On" and "Brave."
