Released in 2015, the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High Shattered Backboard is inspired by an exhibition game in which Michael Jordan participated in 1985 in Trieste, Italy, where he broke the glass board after a dunk. Constructed of high quality textured leather in the original Air Jordan 1 hightop silhouette, the orange, black and white coloring is taken from the team uniform worn by MJ during the game and modeled on the OG "Black Toe" AJ1 color block. Very limited to its initial release, the Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard" is now one of the most sought after non-original colors of the legendary shoe
