This is how Nike together with Ken Giffrey Jr. decided to revive the silhouette of this model, in honor of an athlete very dear to the designer, released on April 15 2021, the Jackie Robinson Day. The sneaker is characterized by a black leather upper with contrasting white details. The straps, decorated with the athlete's quotes, are adjustable at the ankle and bear the "42", Robinson's number. The white wavy contoured midsole sits in contrast to the leather upper and shows off the large Max Air Unit. In addition to the midsole, white also details the laces and Swoosh placed on the toe and heel in an unusual and original vertical orientation.
