Nike Air Force 1 Low Experimental Black

Nike Air Force sub-label No. 354 is about experimental footwear silhouettes that aim to show the process behind the product; the latest result of that technical-centric design ethic is the Air Force 1 Experimental in "Black".

Featuring a wraparound heat-shrink material that covers the entire upper and midsole, the experimental is created to look incomplete. The black shrink material covers the upper and midsole alike - in some places, it is even intentionally folded for a wabi-sabi-like appearance, consistent with the imperfect nature of the lining.

Under the shell is an upper that appears to be made entirely of thick foam with a No. 354 logo scrawled on the Swoosh. We also find a bright neon “sticker” on the heel that promises a guarantee of quality, just as you'd expect to see on a craftsman's cut.
