New Balance 1906D Protection Pack Black - New Balance has recently made its way onto the footwear scene with its slew of silhouettes old and new, which resonate with sneakerheads past and present alike. While the 1906D debuted in 2009, New Balance recognizes that it fits better than ever into the current sneaker store space, offering us customers a selection of warm colorways to choose from. The Protection Pack comes in two colourways, this black version and a lighter, brighter 1906D Protection Pack Gray and offers an edition of the 1906D that most won't be able to refuse, adding yet another shoe to the collection.

The upper is where you can find the Protection Pack's signature jagged rough cuts, draped in black and gray suede. Beneath the panels is black mesh that makes up the majority of the upper, allowing for decent breathability on a shoe that feels so heavy. At the heel is the 1906D's plastic heel cage, which together with the wide ABZORB sole base, provides additional stability. The tongue label has also received the jagged cut update, with the bottom eyelet also featuring a slanted finish. Underneath sits a cream midsole, which contrasts with the darker hues from above while also including the red hit "NERGY".
