New Balance 1890 Joe Freshgoods Finger Waves- The New Balance 1890 Joe Freshgoods Finger Waves was born with the collaboration between Chicago designer Joe Freshgoods and New Balance celebrates the vibrant and bold aesthetics of rap and R&B music videos of the 90s. The name and design recall the "Finger Waves", the iconic wavy hairstyles of the time. The color palette is inspired by the visual atmospheres of artists such as Missy Elliott and Janet Jackson. The sneaker features a breathable mesh base in a deep purple hue, contrasted by glossy black synthetic leather overlays that create a distorted and dynamic visual effect. The 1890 silhouette blends the Y2K aesthetics of the upper (inspired by the 890v3) with the ABZORB premium cushioning of the original 2002 sole, offering exceptional comfort and technical look. The heel houses a new custom JFG emblem, while reflective details and shaped logos complete the design. The packaging is special and includes a set of alternative laces to customize the look.
