The Blancpain x Swatch Scuba Fifty Fathoms Indian Ocean is the first true diving watch.

The green colored case and crown are in Bioceramic. The word "Swatch" is engraved on the outer left side of the case. The metal dial is printed in multiple layers of color for a gradient effect. The indices, hour and minute hands and scale on the bezel are enhanced with grade A Super-LumiNova® for improved readability in the dark. The unidirectional rotating green Bioceramic bezel and bio-sourced glass are treated with a scratch-resistant coating. The SISTEM51 mechanical movement is visible thanks to a transparent sapphire crystal and features a digitally printed image of the Indian Ocean and the Nembrotha Kubaryana mollusk.

On the back of the watch there are five short messages: PASSION FOR DIVING – LICENCE TO EXPLORE – OCEAN BREATH (breath of the ocean) – PROTECT WHAT YOU LOVE (protect what you love) and IMMERSE YOURSELF. The NATO strap is instead made of recycled material coming from fishing nets recovered from the sea. The buckle and loops are in Bioceramic.
