Bape Brand: Founded in 1993 by DJ and designer Nigo, Bape quickly became a staple in the global streetwear market. The product that marked the rise of the brand was the BAPESTA. Drawing on the influence of the most beloved shoe in hip-hop culture, the Nike Air Force 1, Nigo elaborated his sneaker without ever considering use as a basketball sneaker, unlike his counterpart Nike, but just as a hip cult product. -hop. Regarding the design, he exchanged the swoosh with Bape's "Sta" motif and replaced "Air" with the letters "Ape".
