This iteration of Adidas Superstar aims to inspire growth and evolution towards a more sustainable world. The iconic sneaker is in fact rethought by putting sustainability in the foreground, an idea concretized by Adidas through the use of "Primeblue", a high-performance recycled material partly made with Parley Ocean Plastic.

Half of the upper is made of fabric composed of 75% Primeblue yarn, which gives each panel a canvas-like appearance, and no virgin polyester has been used. The black details found on the heel, for example, are obtained from a creative reuse of plastic. The Adidas logo is on the tongue while the Primeblue logo is on the first of the Three Stripes.
