Rolex Sea-Dweller

Water-resistant to 1,220 meters for the Rolex Sea-Dweller and 3,900 meters for the Rolex Deepsea, launched in 1967 and 2008 respectively, these timepieces represent the pinnacle of Rolex's leadership in underwater watchmaking and the fruit of years of collaboration with professional divers.

In 2014, Rolex unveiled a special version of the model, the Rolex Deepsea with D-blue dial, to celebrate James Cameron's historic solo dive to the deepest point of the Mariana Trench, some 11,000 meters deep. Gradually changing from midnight blue to deep black, the Rolex Deepsea's two-tone dial celebrates a man's journey to the deepest place on Earth.
