Tinker Hatfield wants the Air Jordan 8s to not feature any Nike logos. According to Tinker, the Jordan brand is strong enough to hold its own. The eighth silhouette holds a place in the Air Jordan hall of fame that hardly any other model equals. Nike releases the sneaker in the 1992-93 season, called the "Three Peat Championship" and MJ wears them to pulverize Hawks, Knicks, Cavs and Suns. With the VIIIs on his feet, His Airness reaches its peak before the temporary retirement.
