Supreme Chullo WINDSTOPPER Zip Up Sweater Black

The New York based brand Supreme continues the 14th week’s Droplist with a line of zip sweaters named Chullo. In fact, the zip ups take up the folkloristic motifs of the homonymous product. 

The chullo, often mistakenly known as the Nepalese hat, is a type of hat originating from Peru and Bolivia, made of vicuña, alpaca, llama or sheep wool.These are insulating materials that allow the wearer to face the harsh temperatures of the Andean mountain regions.

In this case the material used is a simpler acrylic with GORE WINDSTOPPER® interlining. The GORE® WINDSTOPPER® membrane is an ultra-thin protective layer that is laminated to a lightweight fabric making it totally windproof. In essence this line of sweatshirts is designed for the coldest hype temperatures.
