Nike MAG Back to the Future (2011)

Nike MAG Back to the Future (2011). Since Michael J. Fox‘s Marty McFly first strapped up a pair of Nike MAGs in 1989’s Back to the Future Part II, sneaker lovers have been enthralled with power-lacing technology. The MAG is of course most known for its self-lacing build, but its signature mixture of grey and blue is famous as well. Although we don't find the self-lacing build here - for that you'll need the even rarer 2016 model.

Presented here is the replica of the original pair worn in the film, including the LED lights! The Nike Mags were produced in a limited series of 1,500 pairs. Packaged in deluxe presentation boxes, were sold exclusively by Nike at live auctions around the world. Described by Nike as being “precise replicas … down to the contours of the upper, the glowing LED panel and the electroluminescent NIKE in the strap,” they actually had two differences; additional foam support in the ankle and toe box for increased comfort, and the lack of a power-lacing system.
