Nike Adapt Bb Mag (eu Charger)

Nike Adapt BB Mag (EU Charger)

Eu charger's version for European customers. The Adapt BB ‘Nike Mag’ looks to the Nike Mag from Back to the Future Part II for inspiration. Released in May 2019, the shoe’s Wolf Grey flyknit upper is accented by multicolor dots at the heel and tongue. The fit can be personalized through light-up buttons on the side or the accompanying smartphone app.

Since Michael J. Fox‘s Marty McFly first strapped up a pair of Nike MAGs in 1989’s Back to the Future Part II, sneaker lovers have been enthralled with power-lacing technology. The MAG is of course most known for its self-lacing build, but its signature mixture of grey and blue is famous as well.

Uppers are done up in a sleek wolf grey, with white embellishments provided by the sheath’s textured Swoosh and a dropped-down Swoosh on the medial midfoot. A touch of mint green graces two eyestays, while “L” and “R” are stamped on the left and right tongue tabs.

Signature blue MAG paint splatters grace the sharply-shaped heel tab and midsole. On the midfoot, these splotches are overlaid by a semi-translucent grey plastic piece that guards the power lacing motor embedded in the midsole. This motor adjusts the shoe’s fit by tightening or loosening the aforementioned sheath, and can be controlled via the wearer’s iPhone or Android device. Manual adjustment is available as well thanks to the plus and minus buttons, which also light up in a customizable color palette.

Finally, the OG MAG’s lights are acknowledged by green, yellow, orange and red ovals around the forefoot’s Zoom Air graphic. If you flip the shoe over, you’ll see all of these tones again on the outsole, directly under where the Zoom Turbo cushioning unit is placed.
