KAWS Companion 2020 Figure Brown

KAWS celebrates the 20th anniversary of its beloved Companion by releasing a commemorative version. Aptly nicknamed Companion 2020, the character is designed to be displayed face down and we can’t think of anything more suitable for the current year. 

The second colorway is in brown/grey cast vinyl with the signature xx in the classic black match. Available in three classic colors: brown, black and gray, the Companion has a flattened face and body, perfectly aligned with the surface on which it rests. 

This particular version somewhat rivals that of KAWS’s Holiday Japan figure, also depicted lying down, albeit in a more relaxed position. Consistent with 2020, the artist revealed that “part of the expedition is on the high seas”; for this the Brooklyn artist is also releasing some figures of Holiday Space and BFF together with the Companion 2020.
